| Out of important subject of profitable animal husbandry practices to follow first calving at early age & make the importance of the same understood our financially backward milk producers, union had implemented NECO project since 2006-2007 under elite herd scheme. During that year 22000 Cow / Buffalo heifer were registered & all were given fertility kit in which 81.1% heifers became pregnant. By the success of this scheme we get inspired to start new NECO animal project being implemented from August, 2010 to march, 2011 in which 46641 Cow/Buffalo heifers were registered up to March, 2011 & 42524 cow/buffalo heifers were supplied fertility kit up to March, 2011. Fertility kit is made up of 2 bags Sumul elite Dan, 5 kg Sumineral forte plus powder, 4 kg Sumul Milk Shakti powder & 2 packets of Sumul Kruminashak Dan. At present a survey of pregnant animals in this project is in progress. |
