Earning of the member gets vanished when priceless animal-herd dies either due to disease or by any other mean. In order to see continuation of the income, Union is supporting insurance scheme of animals. Under this scheme, 5115 animals under 859 milk societies were insured. Necessary premium was paid to Insurance firm; and upon getting approval of 411 insurance claims, amount of Rs. 72,32,5000 have been paid to members.
