Union has decided to apply “8-Digit” ear tag to identify every female animal, in which covering members of 602 milk societies, their 208032 female animals have been tagged with “8-Digit” ring. Such activity has been undertaken to assess total information data statements covering all societies talukawise, which is necessary to develop database for details like veterinary treatments, insurance, breed, age, parturition, insemination etc. So, information and guidance can be provided and, can help in policy related decisions on professional dairy management.
