Sumul's milk procurement system |

As there is increase in rural daily wages, man power diverted from rural to city, permanent job in industry & pungent rise in the rate of land, all these lead our milk producer diverted from this business which shows the effect on the milk procurement of our union.
We have tried our level best possible efforts to cop up the requirement of city man by the provision of easy loan scheme like "Sumul Mahila Sanman" for deserving members by which milch animals are provided to them make constant increase in the milk flow. As a result 296456069 kilogram milk is procured during the year which is 0.47% higher than the last year.

In compare to 2009-10 there is 0.47% increase in the milk procurement during the 2010-11. Cow milk is increased by 3.98% & Buffalo milk is decreased by 4.52%
Due to provision of Bulk Chilling Unit at rural level & fast moving arrangement of milk to be swept from remote area to Dairy units control the conversion of sour milk by which we could give a direct benefit to our milk producers. We have paid 410.00 per kilo fat in comparison of 350.00 per kilo fat paid during the 2009-10 which is 17.14% higher than the last year. |
