Women having lions hare in milk business, food having insufficient amount of iron which has direct effect on their physical strength. They experience fatigue while performing day to day household work and animal care activities. Women having hemoglobin level below 12% can be said having anemic condition. In order to make women of our region free from the same, Union has with the support of UNICEF, educated and supported all women of 120 milk societies with distribution of 250000 Unicef-approved and certified ‘iron folic acid’ tablets under anemia control program every week.
