To combat malnutrition by providing nutritious food, this facility was established through the collaborative efforts of Sumul -Amul and the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDSGOG). Under this initiative, the union sold THR products worth Rs. 301.68 crores during the year.
Gujarat Government's Tribal Sub Plan and Department of ICDS, supported by the "Dudh Sanjeevni Yojana", provide milk to children attending Ashramshalas, Primary Schools, and Anganwadis in rural areas of Surat and Tapi Districts, as well as Anganwadis in the Surat Metropolitan Municipality.
