The Quality Policy for Village District Co-operative Societies

We the members of milk producers’ co-operative society are committed to ensure consistent supply of clean and good quality milk to sumul dairy to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.

We will achieve this by continuous training of the producer members and continious monitoring and upgradation of procedures and processes applying scientific innovations and state of the art technology received from sumul union. We are also committed to social and economic development of the community and remain ecofriendly.

Objective

  • To procure clean and good quality milk and to ensure timely and consistant supply to union.
  • To ensure maximum production of milk by utilizing the state of art services like artificial insemination from trained and qualified personnel of the union.
  • To ensure economical and social development of producers by maximizing the return.

ACCOUNTING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME OF MILK SOCIETY:

Day to day, the economic analysis and conclusion of all daily accounting activities of milk society are being done by secretary/employee; it is an important activity. The secretary of the society is as important as life saving oxygen and the accounting in recording is very important for development of society and recording of accounts of society is being done by them, for that as a campaign, union has provided theoretical and practical training to 582 secretaries of milk societies for one week along with awareness regarding various products, informatics literature were provided. From April 2021, every society must be record their accounts itself those who have get recording by other agency, for this planning has been done for make mandatory to record the data in computer under AMCS program in computer available at society level.

ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION OF SOCIETIES

To improve in milk quality & to improve administration, 262 societies have received ISO: 9001:2008 certificate of international standards up to the year 2015-2016. In the year 2016-2017 ISO: 9001:2008 version was upgraded to ISO: 9001:2015. During the year 2021-2022, all 443 societies were got audited by Global Sustainability Certification and Inspection Service (GSCI) and extended. So a total of 443 societies were currently certified by ISO: 9001:2015. In the current year, 20 new milk societies have been added. It has been internally audited and will have a new addition after getting next external audit. The validity of the certification will be up to 2024. This was possible due to the positive cooperation of Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Secretaries, Committee Members & Members of the societies. At present we have followi.ng societies taluka wise having ISO: 9001:2015 certificates of International Standards.

To all the societies having ISO certificate till 31.03.2022, members of the board of directors of Sumul union decided to encourage to every society by giving Rs. 5,000 (Rs. Five thousand) as not flower, but petal of the flower" as a Motivation. Which is a very welcome step taken by Management, due to which Societies has got a boost.

The union's management has decided to cover all the new BCU and which societies come under BCU to got provide JSO:900I:2015 certification in the next 2022-2023 year, in which we feel that proper cooperation can be obtained through Milk Societies.
