The awards were presented by Polycom's Chief Information Officer, Mr. Glenn Noga, on the evening of 20 August 2009.

Sumul Dairy receives the Polycom Intelligent Enterprise Awards 2009 by Indian Express Group in the category of Retail and Consumer Products. The award was presented by Mr. Rajiv Kohli – President (Marketing) – Indian Express Group to the Chairman Shri. Manubhai Patel on the evening of 20 August 2009. SUMUL Dairy Managing Director Shri. The Information Integrity Coalition (IIC), is a not-for-profit organization based at Illinois which promotes awareness and understanding of Information Integrity. Sumul Dairy has been selected in non-profit category for which a Certificate has been conferred on 20-10-2008, at the Great Hall of Cafe Brauer in Chicago. I have been honored with Gold Medal and “Rashtriya Udhyog Samman Puraskar” by Indian Society for Intellectual Development, New Delhi for developing milk co-operative activities in the Surat District which truly nurture the concept of Mahatma Gandhi's dream-village to live with poise through self employment; at the hands of Hon'ble Subodhkant Sahay, Minister of Food Processing on 16th October 2008 at the Speaker Hall of Constitution Club, New Delhi. I have been honored in presence of former Home Minister and M.P. Shri Manekrao Gavit, Dr. Mahavirsinh, Retired Governor (M.P.), Retired C.B.I. Director Shri Jogindersingh, Colonel D. K. Sinh and other dignitaries, so felt much proud.

This proud worthy honor is due to my small yet valuable share in the development of border villages located in tribal region by cultivating co-operative values, human relationship, socioeconomic and educational extension, training and information through dairy business and its strategic planning, control and customer friendly approach, data collection, analysis and utilization all through leadership as a Chairperson; as a result, I felt proud for recognizing me to receive this honor.

Sumul family has performed a great social and moral responsibility in the time of calamity during flood crisis in Surat during 2006 by sharing pain of consumers of the city. S.M.C. College of Dairy Science of Gujarat Agricultural University organize National Dairy Product Judging Contest wherein different products like ghee, paneer, milk powder, ice-cream along with milk are given to be judged for its appearance, freshness, quality, flavors organoleptiaclly. This exercise enables our technocrats to judge the suitability of product from consumers' point of view. Our technologists have participated and unsurprisingly secured the first position. This is a noteworthy achievement.
